Azure Platform Engineer- Devops
Kaav Inc.
Azure Platform EngineerTeam is heavy ticket ops based on the native platform. One team handling terraform and ansible (future state). The environment keeps breaking, bad documentation, knowledge gaps with Josh leaving. DevOps, Azure native experience, infra as code (ARM & BICEP), Chef is preferred but others are ok, real engineers (dig into code and troubleshoot things, figure out the issues and solving them), not ticket takers. Contractors for the time being to offset needs of the business today, starting at 6 months, office requirement (local to Deerfield, Chicago, Virginia, Seattle). Contractors can be anywhere/fully remote. Ticket examples include building pipelines, access to such and such, help upgrading, decommissioning servers. Team developed a platform engineering that is used across the org, self service, Azure platform engineer, full stack, DevOps thought processes, being able to design and engineer a platform that's designed around component level deployments in Azure (could make a case for GCP or AWS if not Azure). Code: Azure Bicep or ARM and Chef.Required Skills: Terraform, DevOps, AzureBasic Qualification:Additional Skills: Azure Engineer, DevOps EngineerThis is a high priority requisition.
