Step into an impactful contract opportunity serving 6th through 12th grade students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist! Located close to Airway Heights, WA, this role is ideal for dedicated professionals looking to make a positive difference in the lives of middle and high school students within a supportive educational setting. The position is full-time (37.5 hours weekly) and extends through the end of the first semester. Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Hold a valid Speech-Language Pathology license for the state of Washington
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFs encouraged to apply
- Previous experience with school-aged populations, particularly 6th–12th grades
- Excellent communication, organizational, and team-collaboration skills
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs and work alongside special education teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide direct treatment for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and maintain individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to support student success
- Manage a diverse caseload, maintain thorough records, and monitor student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to interdisciplinary planning
- Offer direct and consultative services in both in-class and pull-out settings
