ARN - Operating Room Registered Nurse

Overview: Join a dedicated surgical nursing team providing exceptional care in a dynamic operating room environment. This full-time day position involves planning and delivering professional nursing care aligned with established policies and patient needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess patients and identify individualized care requirements.
Organize, implement, and evaluate patient care plans effectively.
Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients and staff.
Serve as charge nurse when assigned, demonstrating leadership and organizational skills.
Administer medications as prescribed and respond promptly to life-threatening situations.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care and positive patient outcomes.
Support patients' cultural and spiritual practices within medical guidelines.
Participate actively in cost containment and accurate patient service charging.

Education: Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.

Experience: No prior experience required; new graduates encouraged to apply.

Requirements:

Current Registered Nurse licensure in a Compact state or the relevant regional licensure.
BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Effective organizational and leadership abilities.
Understanding of age-specific physiological, psychosocial, developmental, and spiritual patient needs.
Physical ability to perform duties including standing, walking, bending, and lifting.

This role is based in a regional healthcare setting serving the Southeastern United States, offering a supportive and collaborative work environment focused on patient-centered care and professional growth.
