Registered Nurse PACU

$1787.04/week -

Job Summary:

The PACU RN provides specialized post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgical procedures. This role involves monitoring patient vitals, managing critical situations, and ensuring a smooth transition from anesthesia to recovery.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess and monitor patient conditions during recovery using GE bedside monitors and other equipment.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications and treatments, including critical drips and ventilator support when needed.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  
  
• 
  Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and interventions in the Expanse system.
  
  
• 
  Respond promptly to emergent situations, providing critical interventions as required.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to hospital policies, unit guidelines, and safety standards, including certifications and dress code.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid RN license with at least 2 years of recent ICU or ER experience preferred.
  
  
• 
  Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, critical care environment.
  
  
• 
  Experience with ventilators and critical care drips preferred.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work 9 or 12-hour shifts, including call responsibilities, with flexibility for holiday coverage.
  
  
• 
  Strong communication skills and team-oriented approach.
