Division Head - Pediatric Gastroenterology (Henry Ford Hospital - Detroit)

Henry Ford Health is seeking a Division Head in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Pancreatology, and Nutrition. As part of Henry Ford Health and its expansion, there will also be numerous leadership opportunities within the Department of Pediatrics and the system. Clinical responsibilities include ambulatory and inpatient care, consultative services, and performance of general GI procedures. The candidate is expected to lead and to participate in the supervision and education of medical students and residents. Competence in general pediatric gastrointestinal procedures will be required. Minimum Qualifications MD, PhD / MD / DO degree, or equivalent Completion of an ACGME approved fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology Licensed by the Michigan Medical Board Board Certification by the American Board of Pediatrics, subspecialty certification in pediatric gastroenterology medicine (or eligible for same) Additional Details This posting represents the major duties, responsibilities, and authorities of this job, and is not intended to be a complete list of all tasks and functions.
