Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Leading Edge Wellness & Counseling, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive psychosocial evaluations and client needs.

• Engage with clients through one-on-one and family therapy sessions, employing evidence-based modalities to address emotional and behavioral challenges.

• Document all clinical interactions and maintain accurate progress notes in compliance with organizational policies and state regulations.

• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to communicate patient progress and address ongoing concerns effectively.

• Provide crisis intervention and support to clients, ensuring immediate needs are met while planning for long-term treatment solutions.

• Consult with families and support systems to promote a coordinated approach to treatment and discharge planning.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily focus on a diverse outpatient population, including individuals, couples, and families experiencing a range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, and life transitions. You will work with clients from various cultural backgrounds, employing culturally competent care practices to ensure that therapeutic approaches are respectful and tailored to each individual's unique experiences.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

• Active and unrestricted state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or equivalent.
