Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive individual, couples, and family therapy sessions, leveraging distinct therapeutic approaches to meet varied client needs. \n
- Perform initial assessments to evaluate client symptoms and personal history, informing the creation of individualized treatment plans. \n
- Implement diverse therapeutic modalities and techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness strategies, and solution-focused therapy, tailored to the therapeutic objectives and client circumstances. \n
- Maintain clear, concise, and timely documentation of client progress, adhering to ethical and legal standards for record-keeping in mental health care. \n
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists, social workers, and care coordinators, to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care for all clients. \n
- Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills, share experiences, and discuss challenging cases. \n
As an LMFT at Covenant Wellness, you will work with a diverse client population, spanning various backgrounds, ages, and presenting issues. Your client base will include individuals seeking help for anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and family trauma. The clinic's focus on community health means you’ll engage with clients of all demographics, championing initiatives that address mental health disparities.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field from an accredited institution. \n
- Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California. \n
- A minimum of two (2) years of post-licensure experience providing clinical social work services. \n
- Proficiency in conducting diagnostic assessments and crafting effective treatment plans to support client growth. \n
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. \n
- A steadfast commitment to cultural competence, social justice, and ethical therapeutic practices. \n

- Experience working within a community health setting and with diverse populations is advantageous. \n
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and technology-enhanced treatment methods. \n
- Continuing education in contemporary therapeutic practices is preferred. \n
