Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of symptoms related to mood disorders in clients.

• Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans that are tailored to their unique needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support clients' mental health journeys.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and the importance of self-care practices through supportive counseling.

• Monitor client progress meticulously and adapt treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Work cohesively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care that addresses all aspects of a client's well-being.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in line with legal and ethical standards, ensuring each client's records are accurate and complete.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on supporting individuals experiencing mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Clients may come from diverse backgrounds, including vulnerable populations such as the homeless, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence. As such, your ability to develop rapport and trust with clients will be essential to their therapeutic progress.
