Key Responsibilities\n

In the role of an LCSW, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to understand patients' mental health status and developing tailored treatment plans based on evidence-based best practices.

• Utilizing therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other relevant interventions to address individual and family mental health concerns.

• Maintaining accurate and compliant clinical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and organizational standards, ensuring confidentiality and respect for all clients.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and fellow social workers to provide holistic, integrated care that meets complex patient needs.

• Engaging in regular case consultations and peer reviews to share insights, improve practices, and enhance overall service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on patients within our hospice center, where you will provide compassionate support to individuals experiencing significant emotional and psychological challenges. This may include individuals facing terminal illnesses, adjustment disorders, and bereavement. Your ability to connect and communicate effectively with diverse populations will be essential in fostering trust and rapport.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience providing clinical social work services, with a strong background in psychotherapy.
