Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to identify patients’ mental health statuses, strengths, challenges, and social supports, utilizing structured tools and clinical interviews.

• Administer evidence-based therapies—including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT)—tailoring approaches to meet individual patient needs and preferences.

• Collaborate closely with medical and mental health professionals across disciplines to develop coordinated care plans, ensuring seamless transitions between services.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health diagnoses, treatment modalities, and medication management, providing them with the knowledge to make informed decisions regarding their care.

• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions that promote healing, engagement, and support among participants.
\n
• Create and personalize treatment plans with measurable goals in collaboration with the treatment team, regularly reviewing and adjusting these plans based on patient progress.

• Act as a patient advocate, guiding clients through the mental health system, addressing barriers to care, and ensuring their rights and needs are communicated effectively.

• Lead psychoeducational groups and therapeutic sessions aimed at empowering patients with coping tools and community resources during and after their treatment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and unrestricted active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New Jersey.

Compensation and Benefits\n
