Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for clients, ensuring an understanding of their unique backgrounds, current challenges, and potential risk factors that could impact their mental wellness.

• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans, in collaboration with clients, that address specific mental health issues and promote overall emotional well-being.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed approaches, to provide effective therapeutic interventions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to assist clients in developing personal coping strategies and enhancing their emotional regulation skills.

• Coordinate care with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health providers to ensure a comprehensive and cohesive treatment approach for each client.

• Offer crisis intervention services during emergencies, employing effective de-escalation techniques and ensuring timely referrals to higher levels of care when required.

• Provide education to clients and their families regarding mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to empower them in their journey.

• Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation of all client interactions, assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid LCSW licensure within New York State.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
