Key Responsibilities\n

• Independent Contractor Role: You will operate as an independent contractor, allowing for autonomy in managing your clients while adhering to organizational standards and ethical guidelines.

• Client Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of senior clients' needs to identify mental health challenges and develop tailored intervention strategies.

• Therapeutic Support: Provide individual counseling and psychotherapy sessions for adult and senior clients, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to facilitate healing and growth.

• Resource Navigation: Research and connect clients to local resources and services, ensuring they have the support necessary to achieve their mental health goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on adult and senior clients, many of whom may face unique mental health challenges related to aging, life transitions, and various stressors. You will be instrumental in helping these individuals achieve better mental health outcomes through empathetic counseling and tailored support strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• A valid LCSW license in the state of California.
\n
• Strong proficiency in computer skills, particularly within Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) and electronic health record systems.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with the capability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.

• Self-directed and able to work independently without supervision, ensuring high-quality service delivery.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with geriatric populations is preferred; however, it is not a strict requirement for applicants.

• Familiarity with therapeutic modalities suitable for adult clients, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or solution-focused therapy, is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n
