Billing Specialist

Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Billing Specialist to join their team for a remote role. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $52,000 to $62,400 per year.
Job Responsibilities:- Create invoices and billing materials to be sent directly to customers or patients to ensure all entries are in compliance with client specific guidelines.
- Processing payments on behalf of customers or patients
- Review appeals of reductions taken by clients as necessary.
- Resolve inconsistencies with collaborating with patients, customers, and other team members to resolve billing inconsistencies and errors.
- Support collections in reviewing and conducting follow-ups
- Additional projects and responsibilities as assigned by billing manager or firm management
- AS/BS or Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance or related field
- 2+ years of Law Firm accounting
- 2+ years of Legal Billing
- Prior relevant experience in E-Billing websites and billing software's and tools.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook & Word)
- Accuracy and strong attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadline in a fast paced environment
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
