Contract Details

• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 3 months
• Pay Rate: $77.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: 3x12 Days, 07:0019:30
• Guaranteed Hours: Facility has ability to call off once per pay period (2 weeks)
• Travel Requirements: Travel contract local radius is 50 miles (please reach out to recruiter for local rate)
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This is a Labor and Delivery RN travel contract opportunity at an Acute Care, MAGNET-designated hospital in Orange, CA. The facility is a 426-staffed-bed acute care hospital. Candidates must be able to circulate and perform sterile vaginal exams. No first-time travelers will be considered. Pending licenses are not accepted.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in a Labor and Delivery unit
• Circulate in the Labor and Delivery and OR settings as required
• Perform sterile vaginal exams
• Adapt to unit scheduling needs, which may include weekends beyond every other

Required Skills

• Ability to circulate in L&D/OR settings
• Ability to perform sterile vaginal exams
• Experience in large hospital settings (highly preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery RN experience required HARD STOP
• All RTO (requested time off) must be submitted at time of submittal

Preferred Skills

• Experience in large hospital settings

Education Requirements

• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NRP certification required
• AWHONN Intermediate required
• AWHONN Advanced preferred
• Active RN License required (pending license not accepted)

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery RN experience HARD STOP
• No first-time travelers accepted HARD STOP

• Scrub Color: Navy Blue (RNs); L&D/OR scrubs provided
• Parking: Free
• Weekends may exceed every other to accommodate unit needs
• Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be considered
• Travel pairs will not be considered
