What You'll Do
- Build, maintain, and improve advanced Excel workbooks — formulas, pivot tables, lookups, dashboards, and reporting templates
- Analyze operational and financial data to spot trends, catch errors, and surface insights that help leadership make decisions
- Organize and manage workflows, trackers, and project boards in Smartsheet and/or Monday.com
- Support light accounting tasks in QuickBooks — pulling reports, reconciling data, and keeping records clean and consistent
- Create clear, accurate reports on a recurring schedule and on request
- Bring structure to unstructured information — standardize how data is collected, stored, and shared across the team
What We're Looking For
- Expert-level Excel skills (advanced formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data cleaning; Power Query a plus)
- 2+ years of experience in a data analysis, reporting, or similar numbers-focused role
- Hands-on experience with Smartsheet or Monday.com (or a similar work management platform)
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks — comfortable navigating it, running reports, and understanding basic accounting data
- Exceptional organizational skills — you naturally create order, follow through, and don't let details slip
- Strong analytical mindset: you ask why the numbers look the way they do, not just what they are
- Clear communicator who can explain findings to non-technical teammates
Nice to Have
- Experience in a small-business or fast-paced operations environment
- Familiarity with Power BI, Google Sheets, or basic SQL
