You will handle everything from standard preventative maintenance and electronic diagnostics to complex mechanical repairs in a safe, fast-paced shop environment.Key ResponsibilitiesFleet Diagnostics & Repair: Diagnose, service, and repair diesel engines, CNG systems, hydraulics, and electrical components.Inspections: Conduct thorough DOT and brake inspections to ensure full safety compliance across all fleet vehicles.Brake & AC Service: Perform routine and complex brake system repairs and service A/C systems using standard electronic diagnostic software.Road Testing: Test-drive trucks as needed to accurately diagnose issues and confirm repairs.Shop & Administrative Duties: Log work orders, manage parts inventory, maintain clean work bays, and adhere strictly to OSHA and GFL safety protocols.Qualifications & RequirementsExperience: 3+ years of experience in heavy-duty diesel and/or CNG fleet maintenance.Certifications Required: Brake Safety Certificate and EPA Section 609 A/C Certification.Tech Savvy: Proficiency with electronic diagnostic software and basic computer systems.Driver's License: Valid Class A or B CDL strongly preferred (or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire).
