West Hollywood/Los Angeles Area Direct Hire for the right candidate

Volt is immediately hiring for Senior Facilities Crew Member in West Hollywood Area. Must have plumbing and painting experience.

As a Senior Facilities Crew Member you will:

• Perform periodic as-needed preventive maintenance and as-needed repairs on a variety of facilities, building systems and equipment as assigned at all company owned properties.
• Monitor all standard stock shop materials and supplies. Notify supervisor when materials or supplies need to be replenished.
• Fabricate Farmers Market shopping baskets, Plaza furniture, and furniture.
• Fabricate custom gates, railings, cabinetry and shelving as needed.
• Maintain repairs as needed to tables, chairs & umbrellas at all company owned properties.
• Paint buildings, furniture, fences, doors, gates, walls as directed.
• Perform general troubleshooting on all mechanical equipment, i.e. air conditioning units for common areas of company owned properties.
• Perform general troubleshooting, repair & maintenance on all plumbing fixtures, i.e. public restrooms, janitor sinks, landscape irrigation systems, hose bibs, storm drains and sewer systems.
• Ensure that all lighting time clocks and lighting systems on properties are properly set and be familiar with lighting control systems.
• Change light bulbs and ballasts as needed.
• Perform minor electrical repairs such as replacing switches, receptacles and light fixtures. Troubleshoot breakers and replace as needed.
• Maintain company vehicles with minor repairs.
• Maintain and repair parking booths, i.e. air-conditioning units, heaters, locks, doors.
• Maintain and repair kiosks as needed.
• Perform minor stucco and asphalt patches.
• Hang advertising banners and signs as directed by Marketing Department.
• Change marquee sign weekly.
• Familiarity with methane systems, CO systems, fire-life safety systems, including fire sprinkler shut-offs.
• Ensure that equipment and tools are maintained in good condition for use.
• Identify and remediate any immediate safety issues that arise.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

This is a temp-to-hire opportunity, Full-time. Direct Hire for the right candidate.

10am-7pm (1 hour lunch), must be able to work Weekends

Pay Rate: $26.00-$30.00 per hour

The ideal candidate will have:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Operate boom lift, forklift, and other equipment as needed
• Ability to use various types of shop equipment including but not limited to paint sprayer, various saws, welding machine, plumbers snake, etc.
• All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance per company standards. Uniform provided.

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
