Volunteer Program Assistant
Bay Area Cancer Connections
BACC is looking for a dedicated Volunteer Program Assistant to volunteer their time to support our Volunteer Engagement Coordinator.
What you'll be doing:
- Helping screen new applicants and matching their skills with current or upcoming roles or projects.
- Leading orientation sessions to ensure new volunteers feel welcomed and prepared.
- Updating our database to track onboarding status and impact milestones.
- Assisting with Volunteer appreciation events.
- Helping draft and edit the volunteer newsletter.
Time commitment:
- 4-8 hours a week
- Monday or Wednesday between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
