In 2021, Littelfuse had net sales of $2.1 billion.As a **Field Application Engineer**, you will act as the primary technical interface for Transportation & Logistics (T&L) customers across Europe.You will play a key role in supporting customers throughout the design-in process, ensuring they successfully integrate Littelfuse solutions into their applications. By combining strong technical expertise with customer engagement, you will help drive business growth, strengthen relationships, and position Littelfuse as a trusted partner.This role requires close collaboration with sales, product management, and engineering teams, as well as frequent interaction with customers across the region.**About the Job:*** Provide technical support to OEMs, Tier1s, and regional customers across Europe, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.* Act as the primary technical advisor, supporting customers in designing and integrating Littelfuse products into their systems.* Collaborate closely with sales and internal teams to drive successful design-in activities and win new business opportunities.* Advise customers on system-level solutions, leveraging the full Littelfuse portfolio.* Build and maintain strong customer relationships to enhance competitiveness and long-term partnerships.* Deliver technical presentations and trainings to customers and internal stakeholders.* Promote Littelfuse products and state-of-the-art solutions tailored to customer applications.* Provide structured technical feedback to product lines based on customer needs and market insights.* Identify opportunities for new product development and support innovation initiatives.* Work cross-functionally with engineering, product management, and sales teams to ensure alignment and execution.* Travel approximately 20-30% across Europe to support customer engagements.**About You:*** Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent).* 7-10 years of experience in a similar technical customer-facing role (e.g., Field Application Engineer, Design Engineer, Technical Sales).* Strong knowledge of circuit protection and electronic systems.* Experience in electronics development and good understanding of power electronics and circuit topologies.* Solid understanding of semiconductor technologies is highly desirable.* Ability to support a broad product portfolio from a system-level perspective.* Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.* Customer-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.* Experience working with OEMs or Tier1 customers is a plus.* Knowledge of automotive standards (e.g., EMI/EMC, functional safety) is an advantage.* Fluent in English; German language is a huge plus.* Proficient in MS Office tools.Littelfuse strives to empower associate growth and development in a culture of ongoing collaboration and respect for diverse global perspectives and expertise.Our Core Values – Respect, Customer Focus, Agility, Collaboration – support us in our mission to improve the safety, reliability, and performance of our customers’ products that use electrical energy.We are an equal-opportunity employer that takes pride in giving every associate the means and courage to make a difference – everywhere, every day.#LI-EW10:00 / 4:25### About UsOur humble roots date back to 1927, where, in the back of a garage on Chicago’s northside, our founder, Edward Sundt, developed a small, fast-acting, protective fuse for use in sensitive test meters.
