Location: Wichita, KS

Start Date: Negotiable

Duration: Permanent

Shift: Combination of 8 and 24-hour shifts on a 7-week rotating schedule

Hours/Week: Approximately 170 hours per month

Employment Type: Full-Time

Licenses/Certifications: Board Certified or Eligible in Neonatology

Experience: Preferred prior Neonatology subspecialty experience; open to newly BC Pediatric Fellows

What You'll Do

• Provide in-house neonatal coverage for a busy Level-III NICU with approximately 1,000 admissions annually
• Collaborate with a dedicated team of residents, nurse practitioners, and support staff
• Support delivery and emergent neonatal care in a facility with over 6,000 deliveries yearly
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research activities affiliated with KU School of Medicine - Wichita
• Contribute to a team-based approach in managing neonatal patients, including emergent interventions
• Cover call responsibilities from home, with scheduled rotations for balanced work hours
• Engage in ongoing professional growth and leadership opportunities within the practice

What You Need

Required:

• Board Certified or Eligible in Neonatology
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Kansas
• Ability to provide high-quality, team-oriented neonatal care

Preferred:

• Experience in Level-III NICU settings
• New Fellow graduates who are BC in Pediatrics are welcome
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
