ERP Business Analyst

Buyers Products Company, a leading manufacturer in the work truck industry, is seeking an IFS Business Analyst to support the implementation, optimization, and long-term success of our IFS Cloud ERP system. This role serves as a key partner between business stakeholders and technical teams, helping to analyze business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure technology solutions align with operational needs. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a process improvement mindset and a passion for driving business efficiency. This individual will work across functions to support system configuration, user adoption, training, testing, and ongoing support while helping the organization maximize the value of its ERP investment. Responsibilities Partner with internal stakeholders to document, understand, and analyze existing business processes. Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and develop new processes that support business objectives. Conduct gap analysis to evaluate how standard IFS functionality aligns with business requirements and identify areas requiring configuration or customization. Anticipate cross-functional impacts of decisions and process changes within assigned areas of responsibility. Identify, document, and establish foundational data elements required within the IFS system. Create detailed functional specifications and requirements documentation for technical development teams. Coordinate and execute system testing activities, including user acceptance testing and validation efforts. Gather feedback from users and stakeholders and recommend system enhancements based on findings. Develop training materials and lead end-user training sessions to support successful system adoption. Utilize project management and collaboration tools, such as ClickUp, to track deliverables, monitor project status, and communicate progress. Respond to and resolve ERP-related help desk tickets, providing timely troubleshooting and user support. Serve as a champion for ERP utilization by promoting best practices and encouraging adoption across the organization. Support continuous improvement initiatives and help identify opportunities for process optimization and automation. Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure successful implementation and ongoing enhancement of ERP solutions. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Accounting, Business Management, Computer Science, or a related field preferred. Required Skills Strong critical thinking and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail. Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment. Self-motivated and proactive approach to problem-solving and project execution. Process-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement, optimization, and automation. Preferred Skills Knowledge of IFS Cloud ERP. Experience with Microsoft SQL, Oracle Database, or other database technologies. Experience working with cross-functional business and technical teams. Familiarity with business process mapping, requirements gathering, and system testing methodologies. Physical Requirements and Work Environment Mobility and dexterity to move throughout office settings, including accessing file cabinets, storage areas, and workstations. Ability to remain stationary for extended periods and perform repetitive motions as needed. Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods throughout the workday.
