Join our dynamic team for this upscale restaurant as an Executive Chef in our upscale restaurant located in the bustling suburbs of Baltimore. This role offers a unique opportunity for a creative and business-minded chef to lead a kitchen known for its higher-end coastal menu and exceptional wine list. Key Responsibilities
- Menu Creation: Design and develop a diverse and appealing coastal menu that showcases seasonal ingredients.
- Kitchen Leadership: Lead and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Quality Control: Ensure all food preparation and presentation meet the highest standards of quality and consistency.
- Cost Management: Monitor food costs and inventory to ensure profitability while maintaining quality.
- Communication: Maintain clear communication with front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role within a full-service restaurant.
- Strong culinary skills with a focus on coastal cuisine and upscale dining.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Business acumen in managing kitchen operations and food costs.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Schedule
Full-time position with flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
