- Manage full-cycle accounting activities including general ledger oversight and monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes
- Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, SOX internal controls, and applicable industry regulations
- Prepare financial reporting packages and provide insights to leadership teams
- Collaborate with operations, tax, treasury, and commercial teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and strengthen accounting controls and efficiencies
- Expertise in accounting leadership, financial reporting, and month-end close processes
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience within the energy industry
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and SOX compliance
- Experience managing general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Active CPA designation required
- Experience within oil & gas, utilities, power generation, renewable energy, or energy trading environments
- Experience with NetSuite, SAP, Allegro, or similar ERP/energy platforms
- Strong technical accounting expertise and experience with intercompany allocations
- Prior leadership experience managing and developing accounting teams
