Accounting Manager - Premier Company

Provide quality and timely accounting and support services to the entire family of companies. Responsibilities Manage consolidation of financials for the parent company’s financial statements Manage corporate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes and requirements, internal and external Manage financial accounting processes: draft and record journal entries, trial balance management, account reconciliations, financial statement preparation and related protocols, subsidiary ledger maintenance, fixed assets, accruals and prepaid balances, bank reconciliations, financial report analysis Work with operations department heads to ensure that all operational activity has appropriately been identified and reflected in financial statements Provide audit prep support to department director Qualifications CPA required Public accounting audit experience a plus, including writing footnotes 5+ years’ experience: consolidations, compilations, eliminations, putting financials together Strong accounting research experience External report writing experience of any kind Seniority Level Mid‑Senior level Employment Type Full‑time Job Function Accounting/Auditing Industries Construction Location San Antonio, TX #J-18808-Ljbffr Vaco by Highspring
