Senior Tax Analyst

Responsibilities Kforce's client, a large, nationally recognized organization is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst for a fully remote 3-6 month contract opportunity. This role will support a high-volume indirect tax function with a focus on sales and use tax compliance, tax research, and account analysis. Responsibilities: Senior Tax Analyst will prepare and file multi-state sales & use tax returns Perform tax account reconciliations and variance analysis Research indirect tax regulations and taxability issues Review and maintain exemption certificates Conduct use tax accrual reviews and adjustments Analyze large data sets and tax transactions in Excel As a Senior Tax Analyst, you will support indirect tax audits and compliance initiatives Partner with accounting and business stakeholders on tax-related matters Requirements Experience in indirect tax, with a focus on sales & use tax Hands‑on experience preparing and filing sales & use tax returns Strong analytical and account reconciliation skills Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis) Ability to perform tax research and interpret regulations independently Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced remote environment The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
