POSITION OVERVIEW

\n

\n

Our client is seeking a Senior Account Manager to oversee strategic partner relationships for their outsourced recordkeeping services, focused on non-ERISA voluntary 403(b), 457, and IRA business. This role blends strategic relationship management with operational expertise, requiring someone who can engage with financial institution partners at a high level and drive process improvements across internal teams. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary liaison for key partners, provide subject matter expertise in retirement operations, and help shape sustainable and scalable processes that ensure long-term partner satisfaction.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

\n

\n

Partner Relationship Management

\n

\n

\n
• Manage and nurture relationships with 3 key financial institution and insurance company partners representing over $5 billion in assets under management
\n
• Serve as the primary point of contact for partner inquiries, escalations, and strategic initiatives
\n
• Conduct regular business reviews and maintain a strong communication cadence with partner leadership
\n
• Collaborate on new product development, service enhancements, and business growth opportunities without direct ownership
\n
• Ensure partner satisfaction through proactive issue resolution and service delivery excellence
\n
• Monitor key performance indicators and service level agreements with partners
\n
• Experience working directly with financial institutions or insurance company partners
\n

\n

Operational Excellence and Process Improvement

\n

\n

\n
• Own analysis of operational workflows identifying opportunities for process refinement and automation
\n
• Partner with operations leaders to influence and implement improvements that drive efficiency
\n
• Lead cross-functional projects to enhance service delivery and operational effectiveness
\n
• Foster a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement and client success
\n
• Identify system enhancement opportunities and collaborate with IT and technology teams for implementation
\n
• Ensure data integrity and compliance across all systems and processes
\n

\n

Subject Matter Expertise

\n

\n

\n
• Serve as subject matter expert on non-ERISA 403(b), 457, and IRA recordkeeping operations
\n
• Provide operational guidance and expertise to team members and the broader organization
\n
• Use Relius Recordkeeping System, Schwab Trust, Matrix Trust, and OnBase by Hyland in daily operations
\n

\n

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

\n

\n

\n
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field
\n
• 7 or more years of experience in the retirement services industry
\n
• 3 or more years in Account Management or Client Relationship Management preferably transitioning from operations into relationship management
\n
• Strong knowledge of retirement operations with expertise in non-ERISA 403(b) and IRA products and regulations
\n
• Experience with recordkeeping systems and trust operations
\n
• Proven track record of managing large and complex client or partner relationships
\n
• Strong analytical and process improvement capabilities
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
\n
• Leadership experience with direct team management
\n
• Demonstrated success in process optimization and operational efficiency projects
\n
• Experience in a fast-paced and growth-oriented environment
\n

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

\n

\n

\n
• Familiarity with Relius, Schwab Trust, Matrix Trust, or OnBase by Hyland systems
\n
• Product Management collaboration experience within financial services
\n
• Experience working directly with financial institutions or insurance company partners
\n
