Opportunity:

RN - MedSurg

Job Details:

• 13-week assignment with a start date of 8/31
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• 12-hour variable day and night shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Float to all inpatient units as needed
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours; unit may request reduced shift lengths of 4 or 8 hours as needed
• Work on a Medical and Pediatrics unit; travelers do not take Pediatric patients
• Treat adult patients with conditions including respiratory illnesses, stroke, neurological conditions, gastrointestinal illness, diabetic management, renal failure, urinary tract disorders, sepsis, wound care, clotting disorders, infectious disease processes, and acute alcohol withdrawal
• Patient ratios: 1:4-5 on days and 1:6-7 on nights
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; Trauma Level II experience highly preferred
• EPIC charting experience required
• Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS (AHA or ARC)
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Scrub color: Any color
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of facility

The facility operates as a Trauma Level II center and provides comprehensive inpatient services across multiple units, supporting a wide range of medical specialties.
