Engage patients in musical experiences—whether listening or singing along Provide supportive presence and emotional comfort through shared moments Communicate patient responses and engagement with our care team Participate in periodic volunteer check-ins or team gatherings What We’re Looking For: Strong passion for music and its healing potential Respectful, compassionate demeanor with excellent listening skills Comfort being around individuals receiving end-of-life care Ability to drive to locations up to 35 miles from your home base Prior experience performing or sharing music in care settings is a plus but not required Whether you’re a college student pursuing music therapy, a retiree with a guitar, or simply someone who finds meaning in melody—this role invites you to make a difference through your gift of sound.
