About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP of Translational Sciences to play a pivotal role in the development of novel cancer therapies. The successful candidate will be the scientific bridge between the discovery engine and clinical programs, owning the strategy and execution that translates preclinical assets to IND-enabling studies and into first-in-human trials. This foundational hire will be responsible for the translational development strategy, supporting biomarker strategies, and ensuring scientific rigor in preclinical-to-clinical bridging. The role demands a hands-on leader with a Ph.D., M.D., or M.D./Ph.D. in a relevant field, at least 12 years of experience in translational oncology drug development, and a proven track record of advancing programs from preclinical to clinical stages. Applicants for the VP of Translational Sciences position at the company should be deeply familiar with IND-enabling studies, possess strong scientific writing skills, and have the ability to work at the bench-to-bedside interface in a fast-paced, small team.
