Title: Family Physician
Reports To: Site Medical Director

Pay beginning at $215,000

$10,000 sign-on bonus!

 

Summary:
The Family Physician provides comprehensive, patient-centered medical care across assigned clinical sites and programs. This role supports the organization’s goals for quality, productivity, compliance, education, and research through evidence-based clinical practice and collaborative teamwork.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain active medical practice with assigned weekly clinical sessions.

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care with sound clinical judgment.

• Ensure timely, accurate documentation and compliance with clinical policies.

• Demonstrate professionalism through CME participation, ethical practice, and ongoing development.

• Collaborate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, peer review, and organizational meetings.

• Support teaching, mentoring, and training of medical students and residents.

• Exhibit initiative, reliability, and flexibility in meeting departmental goals.

 

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school and residency program.

• Active NY State Medical License and current DEA registration.

• Board eligible or certified in Family Medicine.

• Current BCLS certification.

• Strong clinical, communication, organizational, and computer skills.

 

Physical & Work Environment:

• Requires routine standing, walking, and light lifting (up to 10 lbs).

• Typical clinical environment with moderate noise level; reasonable accommodations available.
