Standard work hours are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, providing the consistency needed for effective client scheduling and progress tracking.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for elderly residents to identify their unique psychological and emotional care needs, documenting findings accurately for treatment planning.

• Provide individual and group therapy tailored to address the specific emotional and cognitive challenges associated with aging, including but not limited to grief, anxiety, and depressive disorders.

• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians and social workers, to develop comprehensive and personalized care plans that focus on enhancing the quality of life for geriatric clients.

• Educate families and care staff on effective strategies to support emotional well-being and quality of life for elderly individuals, emphasizing practical tools and techniques.

• Implement cognitive stimulation activities and evidence-based interventions aimed at maintaining mental acuity among elderly clients, adapting the approach to align with each individual’s cognitive status.

Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
