Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Qualifications Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program, or foreign equivalent when applicable. Active California Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment (obtained on or after January2016). Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor per facility policy. AHA‑BLS or ARC‑BLS required. ICU experience preferred but not required. Two years of physical therapy experience preferred. Assignment Details Shift hours: 0800 - 1700. Workweek: 5x8 schedule. Responsibilities Plans and conducts segments of treatment programs designed to restore and improve physical, social, and mental functions while meeting department objectives. Serves as co‑leader in an interdisciplinary approach to patient care. This role supports hospital goals for quality outcomes and patient satisfaction. Location Highlights Templeton is centrally located on California’s Central Coast, near Paso Robles and 30–40 minutes from San LuisObispo and the Pacific coast. The area offers vineyard regions such as Paso Robles wine country and outdoor options including hiking in nearby Los Padres National Forest and coastal access at Morro Bay.
