Director, Chief of Staff

For our client, we are seeking a Director Chief Of Staff to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will advance people and talent initiatives that strengthen organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and employee experience. You will collaborate with business leaders, HR partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to align workforce priorities with business objectives. The position offers the opportunity to influence culture, talent strategy, and scalable people operations within a regulated financial services environment. Location Location: Mclean, VA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation Compensation: $230,400 – $263,000 annually Responsibilities Lead strategic program development with stakeholders Manage delivery roadmap and cross-tower dependencies Influence and align matrixed stakeholder teams Drive organizational processes for success Enhance brand visibility of strategic initiatives Assess feasibility of new projects and implementation plans Champion innovative ideas, even when unpopular Quickly learn and navigate key organizational topics Drive change and operational excellence Serve as a trusted advisor to enterprise stakeholders Exercise strong business judgment and integrity Foster a culture of collaboration and open exchange Utilize negotiation and mediation skills effectively Demonstrate meticulous organizational skills and follow-through Handle complex assignments with minimal direction Qualifications Bachelor's degree 7+ years in Project, Process, or Program Management 5+ years of people management experience 5+ years in strategy development (preferred) 5+ years in budgeting and labor strategy (preferred) 6+ years driving organizational change and operational excellence (preferred) 3+ years partnering with engineering and product teams (preferred) Benefits Comprehensive health, financial, and other benefits Performance-based incentive compensation options Cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives Inclusive work environment Opportunities for professional development Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
