Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients’ needs and develop personalized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe and nurturing environment for clients to express their concerns and feelings.
\n
• Monitor and document client progress using Electronic Health Records (EHR) software, ensuring accurate and timely updates.
\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient care and treatment outcomes.
\n
• Engage in ongoing professional development to refine therapeutic skills and stay informed about best practices in mental health.
\n
• Provide supervision and guidance to interns or less experienced therapists, sharing knowledge and fostering a collaborative learning environment.

• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations while handling sensitive client information.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role involves working with a diverse client population, including children, adults, and families experiencing a variety of challenges. Many clients may face issues related to trauma, grief, relationship dynamics, mental health disorders, and cultural hurdles. Your expertise will help them navigate these difficulties in a supportive, aware, and sensitive manner.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Studies, or a related field from an accredited institution.
\n
• Active, unrestricted LMFT license to practice in the state of Arizona.
\n
• Fluency in both Spanish and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills to provide bilingual therapy.

• Minimum of two years of experience in a mental health setting, working directly with children, adults, and families.
\n
• Deep respect for cultural and individual diversity, demonstrating sensitivity to the needs and customs of different family systems.
\n
• Exceptional skills in self-examination and empathy, essential for building trust and rapport with clients.
\n
• A valid driver’s license and car insurance, as occasional in-person meetings may be required.
\n
• Willingness to provide services as an in-network provider on at least one insurance panel.
\n
• Ability to effectively use EHR software and Microsoft Office tools to maintain accurate client records.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with specific populations or issues such as trauma, LGBTQ+ families, grief and loss, or perinatal mental health.

• Proficiency in conducting virtual therapy sessions, ensuring adherence to HIPAA requirements.

• Background working in community health clinics or similar settings.

• Prior training in short-term therapy solutions or group therapy techniques.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
