Lead Clinical Nurse (RN) – Permanent Night Shifts with a Weekend Rotation The Johns Hopkins Hospital Surgical Progressive Care Unit is a 32‑bed general surgical unit offering Floor, Telemetry, and Intermediate Medical Care (IMC) levels. As Lead Clinical Nurse, you will provide guidance to staff, act in the absence of the Assistant Nurse Manager or Nurse Manager, and oversee clinical team operations during care delivery. Responsibilities Provide guidance and direction to nursing staff. Act as shift lead in the absence of the Assistant Nurse Manager/Nurse Manager. Oversee the clinical team during patient care and unit operations. Assist in development and implementation of unit procedures. Apply conflict‑resolution principles and recommend resource utilization. Implement performance management of staff. Qualifications BSN or MSN from an accredited nursing program. Active Maryland or Compact RN license. BLS CPR certification. Minimum 3 years of intermediate care or higher acuity RN experience. Leadership ability and experience in developing and implementing procedures. Benefits & Compensation Competitive hourly compensation: $46.57 – $72.18 per hour, commensurate with experience.
