Job Description

The MRI Technologist will perform magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures on patients while ensuring their safety and comfort. Responsibilities include operating GE 450W 1.5 T MRI equipment and collaborating with radiologists to obtain high-quality images.

Responsibilities

• Execute MRI procedures for brain, spine, orthopedic, abdominal, and cardiac assessments.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
• Operate and troubleshoot MRI equipment effectively.
• Document procedures accurately in the EMR system (Meditech/Centricity PACS).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have experience with GE MRI equipment.
• Current Virginia License in hand at submission.
• MR Registered certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
