Accounts Receivable Supervisor

About the Role
A well-established organization is seeking an Accounts Receivable Supervisor to lead its government contract billing function. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, this role supervises a team of three and oversees accurate, timely invoicing and collections.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle invoicing for CPFF, FFP, and T&M contracts, including electronic submissions through customer billing systems
- Establish and maintain billing standards, procedures, and templates for the AR team
- Reconcile billings and payments, monitor receivable balances, and drive collections
- Report on unbilled receivables and invoicing status to management
- Support month-end close and reconcile AR-related general ledger accounts
- Partner with Contracts on final invoices and closeout
- Oversee project setup in Deltek Costpoint
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- 5+ years of government contract billing and collections experience
- Hands-on experience with Deltek Costpoint, WAWF/iRAPT, IPP, and VIPERS
- Solid understanding of GAAP revenue recognition and FAR cost principles
- Advanced Excel skills and strong written and verbal communication
- US citizenship required; must pass a background check and be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance
