Wound Care Nurse (LPN)
Facility: Rehabilitation Center of Orlando
Location: Orlando, FL
Schedule: Full-Time
Pay: $29.00–$31.00 per hour

Rehabilitation Center of Orlando is seeking a compassionate and experienced Wound Care Nurse (LPN) to provide exceptional wound and skin care services to our residents. Working alongside our interdisciplinary team, you'll play a key role in promoting healing, preventing skin breakdown, and improving quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat, and monitor wounds and skin conditions

• Develop and implement individualized wound care plans

• Perform routine skin assessments and identify residents at risk for pressure injuries

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality resident care

• Assist with applicable MDS documentation

• Educate residents and families on wound care treatments

• Recommend appropriate wound care products, dressings, and pressure-relieving devices

• Monitor healing progress and maintain accurate documentation

• Report concerns related to resident safety, abuse, neglect, or infection per facility policy

Qualifications

• Current, active Florida LPN license

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience

• Wound care experience preferred

• Skilled nursing or long-term care experience is a plus

• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
