Make a meaningful impact in the lives of high school students by stepping into a dynamic setting supporting grades 9-12 as a paraprofessional. This contract role, running from August 24 through June 4, is a full-time opportunity with hours from 7:30 am to 3:15 pm. You’ll be working closely with small groups, providing essential educational assistance and helping students flourish both academically and personally.

Qualifications:

• Current Wisconsin paraprofessional certification, or eligibility to obtain one
• Experience working with high school-age students is highly desirable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate well with teachers and other support staff
• Patience, flexibility, and a genuine passion for student success

What You’ll Do:

• Assist in the delivery of individualized or small group instruction under the supervision of a certified teacher
• Help nurture a supportive and productive learning environment for students
• Support students with differing abilities, adapting methods to best meet their academic and behavioral needs
• Monitor student progress, provide encouragement, and document observations as necessary
• Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities when required
