Job Description
Title
Instrumentation Coordinator - Sterile Processing

Schedule
Primary shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Additional weekend/weeknight traveler coverage requested

Requirements
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience
- Trauma Level II experience required
- Travel experience required
- Certifications: CBSPD or CRCST
- Key clinical skills:
- Endoscope reprocessing and HLD
- Sterilization processes (STERRAD and steam)
- Instrument set/tray assembly and standardization
- Experience with robotics and various specialty instrumentation
- Familiarity with Censitrac tracking and equipment documentation
- Charting system: Epic (preferred)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee decontamination, manual and ultrasonic cleaning, assembly of instrument sets/trays, peel/loaner packaging, sterile storage, and sterilization processes
- Act as liaison with the Operating Room and coordinate instrument allocation across the system
- Ensure compliance with tracking and documentation standards
- Assist with training and orientation for staff as required

Compliance / Notes
- Pre-approved time off: one (per contract)
- Urgent background check and fingerprinting required after signing contract
- Required documents due by Tuesday prior to start date (no exceptions)
- References: 2 professional references required; at least 1 must be a manager/director or formal supervisor
- COVID-19 vaccine is not required; Flu vaccine is required (medical exemptions only)
