Sales Development Representative

Sales Professional Opportunity

SumnerOne is searching for a high-energy, motivated sales professional to join our Regional Sales Development team. In this entry-level sales role, you will be the first point of contact, laying the foundation for our regional sales efforts. You will become an expert in a full line of office technology products and services, while learning and growing within our company.

What You Will Do:

• Act as our "feet on the street", making daily in person sales calls, developing key relationships, and carrying out management directed prospecting initiatives
• Identify and develop a strong pipeline of new business opportunities utilizing a combination of in-person, phone, and electronic prospecting techniques
• Heavy lead generation and cultivation of key relationships
• Assist our Account Management team throughout all phases of the selling process
• Establish and grow your consultative selling talents

Compensation:

• Base salary and commission structure, plus bonuses, paid expenses, and benefits

General Qualifications & Requirements:

• Associate degree or 2+ years of inside sales or similar experience
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, especially with Excel; willingness to adopt CRM and prospecting tools
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Valid driver's license and insurability
• Reliable transportation for daily field prospecting
• Authorized to work in the U.S., able to pass pre-employment and drug screenings
• Fluency in English (written and verbal) is required to effectively communicate with clients, team members, and stakeholders, and to perform the essential functions of this role
