Executive Chef - $75K-$80K Base + 12k+ Bonus

A well-established, high-volume upscale casual restaurant group is searching for an Executive Chef to lead the kitchen at its Wichita location. Known for a scratch-made menu, and a steakhouse-caliber approach to proteins and seafood, this is a concept built for guests who expect polish without pretense - and a kitchen built for a chef who wants to run it that way. The company is growing across multiple states, with new restaurants opening regularly.

What You'll Own


• Lead and manage all back-of-house team members, kitchen operations, and food production, including the bar-side kitchen program


• Train and develop a Sous Chef into a strong second-in-command


• Coach, counsel, and provide ongoing feedback to build a high-performing culinary team


• Cross-train team members across stations, building depth and kitchen knowledge throughout the back of house


• Supervise and personally participate in butchering and portion control each shift


• Set the standard for food quality and a clean, organized kitchen


• Interview, hire, and develop back-of-house staff to maintain full staffing levels


• Own ordering for produce, seafood, and core food categories


• Conduct bi-weekly inventory as a team effort


• Partner closely with the General Manager and other leaders to run a cohesive operation


What You Bring


• 2+ years as an Executive Chef in a high-volume, full-service restaurant


• Steakhouse or upscale casual background strongly preferred


• Hands-on butchering experience required


• Scratch-kitchen experience preferred


• A calm, composed leadership style, even during peak volume


• Strong communication skills and genuine passion for hospitality


• Self-motivated, professional, and disciplined


Compensation & Perks


• Base salary $75,000-$80,000, commensurate with experience


• Profit sharing/bonus paid every 4 weeks, based on restaurant profitability 12-14k average yearly
