As we open our new Texas plant, we are seeking a Quality Manager to establish and lead our Quality Management System while helping build a culture centered on quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
This is a unique opportunity for a quality professional who enjoys developing systems, driving process improvements, solving complex manufacturing challenges, and making a lasting impact. As the primary quality leader for the Texas facility, this position will play a critical role in ensuring products, processes, and systems consistently meet customer expectations, company standards, and regulatory requirements.
The Quality Manager will work closely with plant leadership and partner with Fidelity's corporate quality leadership team to ensure alignment of quality systems, standards, reporting, audit readiness, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

About Us
FIDELITY MANUFACTURING is part of the Backup Power Generation industry. We design and build backup power packages, including tanks and enclosures, for healthcare, industrial, and technology-driven customers that require uninterrupted power at all times. Our operations are driven by safety, quality, delivery, and continuous improvement to support critical customer applications.
As we continue to grow, our new Texas facility will play a critical role in expanding our manufacturing capabilities and supporting customer demand across North America. Job Summary
The Quality Manager is responsible for leading and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) while ensuring products, processes, and systems consistently meet customer, company, regulatory, and quality requirements. This position serves as the primary quality leader for the Texas facility and plays a key role in driving continuous improvement, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of manufacturing quality systems, root cause analysis, quality assurance methodologies, auditing processes, and continuous improvement principles. This role requires the ability to work cross-functionally with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, and Customer stakeholders to drive sustainable improvements and ensure consistent product quality.
As operations continue to expand, this position will play an increasingly strategic role in developing quality systems, supporting workforce growth, improving performance metrics, and establishing best practices throughout the facility.
Essential Job Functions
Quality Management & Compliance
· Lead and manage all quality assurance and quality control activities for the facility.
· Maintain compliance with company quality standards, customer requirements, and quality management system requirements.
· Develop, implement, maintain, and continuously improve quality policies, procedures, and documentation.
· Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of findings.
· Monitor quality performance metrics and provide recommendations for improvement.
· Maintain quality records, reports, certifications, and documentation required by customers and regulatory agencies.
· Drive compliance with established manufacturing, inspection, and testing requirements.
· Support customer audits and certification activities as required.
Quality Improvement & Problem Solving
· Lead root cause investigations and corrective and preventive action activities.
· Analyze quality data, trends, scrap, rework, warranty claims, and performance indicators to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
· Coordinate quality improvement initiatives focused on reducing defects, improving first-pass yield, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
· Support structured problem-solving activities using established quality methodologies.
· Partner with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to resolve quality concerns and implement sustainable solutions.
· Facilitate continuous improvement efforts focused on process capability, consistency, and product performance.
· Develop and track key quality performance indicators.
Operations Support
· Work closely with production leadership to ensure products are manufactured according to specifications, drawings, procedures, and quality standards.
· Support new product introductions, engineering changes, and process improvements from a quality perspective.
· Evaluate supplier quality performance and participate in supplier corrective action activities as needed.
· Monitor customer complaints, warranty trends, and nonconforming material reports to identify improvement opportunities.
· Ensure inspection and testing activities are completed accurately and consistently.
· Provide guidance regarding quality requirements, acceptance criteria, and inspection methodologies.
· Support manufacturing teams in achieving quality and operational objectives.
Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnership
· Foster a culture of quality ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
· Partner with supervisors and department leaders to improve process capability and product quality.
· Communicate quality performance, risks, and improvement initiatives to plant leadership.
· Maintain strong working relationships with customers, suppliers, auditors, and internal stakeholders.
· Provide training and coaching related to quality systems, procedures, and expectations.
· Support quality alignment and knowledge sharing between Texas and other Fidelity Manufacturing operations.
· Promote proactive quality planning and prevention-based quality strategies.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Minimum 5 years of quality assurance and quality control experience within a manufacturing environment.
· Strong understanding of manufacturing quality systems and quality management principles.
· Experience leading root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives.
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
· Experience using inspection equipment, measurement devices, and quality verification methods.
· Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and quality management systems.
· Background check and pre-employment drug screening required.
Highly Preferred
· Experience within an ISO 9001-certified manufacturing environment.
· Experience with mechanical and electrical components, assemblies, and weldments.
· Experience supporting fabrication, welding, assembly, and industrial manufacturing operations.
· Experience leading quality systems within a startup operation, plant expansion, or new facility launch.
· Experience conducting supplier quality assessments and supplier development activities.
· Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Preferred
· Quality certifications such as CQE, CQA, CMQ/OE, Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or similar credentials.
· Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing reporting tools.
· Experience supporting customer quality requirements and audits.
· Knowledge of regulatory compliance and industry quality standards.
· Experience developing and delivering quality-related training programs.
Working Conditions
This position operates primarily in an office environment with regular presence throughout manufacturing, production, and warehouse operations. Employees may be exposed to elevated noise levels, temperature fluctuations, dust, airborne particles, welding fumes, moving machinery, forklifts, and material handling equipment.
The position requires frequent interaction with production teams, inspectors, customers, suppliers, and leadership personnel. Required PPE must be worn when entering designated production areas, and all company safety procedures must be followed.
Physical Requirements
· Ability to sit for extended periods while performing administrative, analytical, and reporting activities.
· Ability to stand and walk frequently throughout office, manufacturing, and warehouse areas.
· Ability to occasionally bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb while reviewing production processes and quality concerns.
· Ability to lift and carry materials or equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
· Manual dexterity required to operate computers, office equipment, and inspection tools.
· Ability to visually inspect products, reports, manufacturing processes, and quality documentation.
· Ability to safely navigate active manufacturing environments while wearing required PPE.
· Ability to communicate effectively with employees, customers, suppliers, and auditors.
