About the Role

The Company is seeking an AVP, Sales Finance to join their team. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted leader in the M&B Division, acting as the finance business partner to the Head of Sales for US Retail. This role is pivotal in guiding sound business decisions to meet and exceed financial and strategic objectives. Responsibilities include leading financial leadership for the core sales organization, driving revenue growth, and ensuring improved financial returns on customer investments. The AVP will also be involved in customer profitability analysis, and selling expense management, and will be a key member of both the M&B Sales and Finance Leadership teams. The position requires a strong background in commercial finance, with a focus on planning, forecasting, and resource management. Applicants for the AVP, Sales Finance position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a minimum of 15 years' progressive financial experience, preferably in the CPG environment. A background in commercial finance and at least 7 years of experience in leading and developing diverse teams is essential. The role demands advanced knowledge of financial controls, the ability to manage competing priorities, and a proven track record of instilling financial rigor with non-finance partners. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization. A Master's degree or CPA is preferred, and experience with EPM applications is a plus.
