Operations Specialist

Operations Specialist Consumer Goods Los Angeles, CA Mackie Myers is partnering with a fast-growing consumer goods business to hire an Operations Specialist. This role sits at the heart of a rapidly scaling U.S. operation and will play a key part in ensuring products move efficiently from warehouse to customer across a national distribution network. This is a high-ownership, high-interaction role suited to someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys problem solving and wants to be closely involved in the day-to-day execution of a growing supply chain. The Opportunity You will take ownership of the full order-to-delivery lifecycle across multiple sales channels, working closely with retailers, distributors, eCommerce partners and third-party logistics providers. This role is critical to maintaining service levels, protecting customer relationships and ensuring operational excellence as the business continues to scale. You will also have the opportunity to identify and implement process improvements, helping to build a more efficient and scalable operations function. Key Responsibilities Own the end-to-end order fulfillment process from purchase order through to delivery confirmation Act as the primary point of contact for order-related queries across retail, distribution and eCommerce channels Manage outbound logistics, coordinating with warehouses, carriers and 3PL partners to ensure on-time and accurate delivery Ensure compliance with retailer routing guides and requirements to avoid chargebacks and service issues Investigate and resolve order discrepancies, including overages, shortages and damages Support onboarding of new customers across EDI and eCommerce platforms Maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth operations Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and service levels What They Are Looking For 2 to 3 years of experience in operations, supply chain or order management, ideally within consumer goods Experience working with retailers, distributors or eCommerce channels Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to operate under pressure Highly organized, with strong attention to detail Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement #J-18808-Ljbffr Mackie Myers
