VP of Finance - Strategic Regional Leader (US & Canada)

Summary The Vice President of Finance will provide strategic financial leadership for the US and Canada region, partnering with senior leadership to drive commercial performance across wholesale, retail, and e-commerce. This role leads budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, reporting, and core accounting operations while identifying risks and opportunities to support growth and profitability. The VP will also build and develop a high‑performing regional finance team and act as a strategic business partner to executive leadership. Responsibilities Own annual budgeting and forecasting cycles across wholesale, retail, and e-commerce channels. Lead consolidation of monthly financial results across multiple entities and business units. Oversee financial reporting, including management packs and statutory reporting. Manage the monthly financial close and core accounting operations (fixed assets, accruals, prepayments, intercompany, reconciliations). Lead balance sheet review, governance, annual tax filings, external audit, and banking reviews. Ensure strong financial controls and compliance with accounting standards and internal policies. Drive financial planning, performance management, and definition of key financial metrics. Implement continuous improvement across finance processes to enhance efficiency and scalability. Lead, develop, and maintain a high‑performing regional finance team and succession pipeline. Requirements 15+ years of progressive finance experience, including at least 5 years in senior leadership within a multi-entity organization. Experience operating in a regional or multi-country finance leadership capacity (US and/or Canada exposure preferred). Industry experience in retail, wholesale, or apparel is preferred. Strong technical expertise in multi-entity accounting and intercompany structures. Highly commercial, data-driven, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leadership. Proven track record building and leading high-performing finance teams.
