Registered Nurse, Behavioral Health (Days) Join Wellbridge Healthcare, a 72‑bed hospital in Fort Worth, Texas and part of Lifepoint Health, as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Behavioral Health. This full‑time day position offers the opportunity to provide high‑quality care and support patients in a fast‑moving psychiatric environment. Base pay range: $10.00/hr - $10.00/hr (actual pay based on skills and experience). Responsibilities Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs. Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions. Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient. Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record. Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient. Performs timely and accurate QI assessments. Assesses the patient and plans care within set timeframes and documents findings according to policies. Oversees and supervises the shift. Demonstrates leadership through duties that may include delegating tasks such as groups, close observation, meal supervision, etc. Oversees staff to ensure nursing policies and procedures are followed and exemplary patient care is consistently delivered by self and all team members. Monitors patient for change of condition and responds accordingly up to and including notification of the physician. Follows hospital policy for medication administration. Consistently uses empathy, dignity, and respect when interacting with patients. Delivers quality nursing care to ensure that goals of the treatment plan are properly executed following hospital policies and procedures and demonstrated nursing competencies. Assists/performs comprehensive nursing assessments on all patients. Current Registered Nurse license as required by state regulations in which the facility operates. Preferred: 1‑year experience in a psychiatric health care facility. Preferred: Direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric and geriatric patients. Experience in patient assessments, family motivations, treatment planning and communication with external review organizations or comparable entities. CPR certification required within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact. De‑escalation certification required within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact.
