Associate Attorney

Job Description

The Attorney will work full-time on-site in Seattle, WA, handling litigation matters involving employment and business operations. Responsibilities include conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and legal correspondence, preparing case files, assisting with litigation strategy, participating in client meetings, supporting settlement negotiations, and representing clients in court as appropriate. The attorney will maintain professional communication with clients, courts, and opposing counsel while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

• 6–8 years of experience in Labor and Employment Law, preferably with a strong background in employment-related litigation.

• Active license and admission to the Washington State Bar are required.
\n
• Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, case law, and litigation procedures.
\n
• Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
\n
• Ability to provide practical legal guidance, manage multiple cases and deadlines, and communicate effectively with clients.

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, professional integrity, and the ability to work collaboratively within a legal team.
