Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address their specific orthopedic conditions.
• Utilize hands-on manual therapy techniques aimed at alleviating pain, restoring mobility, and enhancing overall physical function.
• Instruct patients on proper exercise regimens and therapeutic activities to promote recovery and independence.
• Document patient progress meticulously, ensuring compliance with practice and regulatory standards, while utilizing electronic medical record systems.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to discuss patient assessments and modify treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on the latest advancements in physical therapy and orthopedic care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will serve a diverse population of patients dealing primarily with orthopedic issues including post-operative recovery, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and movement impairments. Your expertise in Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation will also be crucial, as Rising Sun is recognized for its specialized approach to pelvic health within the San Francisco Bay Area.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• A current Physical Therapy License in California is mandatory.
• CPR Certification is preferred but not required at the time of application.

Preferred Experience

• Certification in Pelvic Floor Therapy is highly desired.
• Demonstrated experience in a similar outpatient orthopedic setting, focusing on personalized patient care.
• Skill set in manual therapy techniques and a strong interest in pursuing further training.

Compensation and Benefits
