Position Security Officer Driver Mobile Patrol – De Soto, KS Job Details Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.25 / Hour Job Schedule Mon – 10:45 PM - 07:15 AM Tue – 10:45 PM - 07:15 AM Wed – 10:45 PM - 07:15 AM Sat – 10:45 PM - 07:15 AM Sun – 10:45 PM - 07:15 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site‑specific procedures and supporting access control activities at a technology‑focused location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas while observing for security‑related concerns, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues that should be reported. Complete routine reports and document observations, incidents, and/or interactions in accordance with post orders and Allied Universal guidelines. Minimum Requirements At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required. Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
